From Refuge To 6 Figure Business Owner, How Coaching Saved My Life

Life has a way of throwing curveballs at us when we least expect it. For me, growing up in an environment filled with crack addiction, violence, poverty, and chaos was the norm. It seemed like there was no escape from the endless cycle of despair.

However, in 2016, I found myself in a refuge, fleeing my second violent relationship with my seven-month-old son. It was at this moment that I realized something needed to change. Relying on charity and government support to make ends meet, I felt trapped and helpless. I remember being too scared to stop breastfeeding because I couldn't afford milk, and accepting donated presents for Christmas. It was in that moment of vulnerability that I made a promise to myself - I would never put myself in that position again.

Determined to create a better life for myself and my children, I made the brave decision to go back to university and study accounting. I believed that obtaining a professional job and financial stability would be the answer to all my problems.
